Quail Valley Register

A Game of Many Sub-Plots

Blame GRRM.  I really intended for our "beer & pretzels" DnD-turned-Pathfinder game to be simple and hassle free.  I did.  But after the last game I may have to admit that I have a problem.  I'm addicted to sub-plots.

Here are a list of the plot lines that have been opened since the beginning of the game:

Character Plots

Jaques - [OPEN] Running from a crime he committed outside of the valley.  Details have not been given.

Waywocket - [OPEN] Was caretaker of a dragon that got free from the dragon worshiping sanctuary, and has nested somewhere in the Valley.

Pembrose Plots

Lord Kyle - [CLOSED] Clear out the Keep.  Lord Kyle has sent his men to occupy the Keep and soon will be making it his own.

Lord Kyle - [OPEN] Tal Talien, a con man illusionist, infiltrated Lord Kyle's home and impersonated him.  He would like Tal Talien found.

Lord Kyle - [OPEN] Lord Kyle would like an item (magic) that protects against further illusion spells.

Boris Stenker - [OPEN] Boris has a ghost residing under his Inn.  He would like  it removed.

Winifred Baum - [OPEN] Her husband reportedly absconded with a piece of jewelry.  A diamond shaped key on a necklace.  She wants it back.

Winifred Baum - [CLOSED] There is a dead body under the Baum house hidden in a wine cask.   Winifred is willing to pay 10gp per character for them to dispose of the body quietly, and report that it was her husband.

Bostwick Plots

Jeffar - [OPEN] Would like to expose the Mayor in some kind of plot, as she knows he's not good for Bostwick.

Jeffar - [CLOSED] Investigate the troll to the East of Bostwick.

Mayor Wycheck - [CLOSED] Find and kill Graylock, a gnoll who has been terrorizing the town.

Twain Plots

Crus - [CLOSED] Retrieve a set of books for him.

Quail Valley Plots

Quarrant - [CLOSED] Has agreed to meet with the characters in a few weeks at the Keep to discuss a possible orc invasion.

These are all the plots that I can remember.
